One day I will have a collection of amazingly beautiful graphic design books just like this. In the meantime I will just look at Display's collection and hope. The Pirelli selection is my favourite at the moment.

Year 2
Overall a mad year. Bring on third year.
Flux
The last project of the year was to design an issue of Flux magazine. We were given the names of the people the articles would be written about, but that was it. From here it was up to us to come up with the overall narrative and theme of the issue. I really enjoyed this project as it was so free. I was able to do what I wanted to do and just have a bit of fun. Not worrying and being free is something I have been struggling with this year. Naturally, I'm a worrier and a perfectionist, but I find when I let go I am a lot more creative.
Here are a few images of my layout designs. I have mocked it up in a magazine format just to demonstrate how the spreads would work as a physical object. I love making books, no matter how simple so I'll find any excuse!

BOOKS BOOKS BOOKS
I like making books, so here are a few I have made recently. One for an editorial project at uni, education sportspeople on the astrophysicist Carl Sagan. The other just a simple five page booklet, saddle stitched for the Sam Meech workshop. Also a simple trouser book I made for my Topman project.

All of the lights
Not only do I love 'All of the Lights' by Kanye west, but I have just realised that the video is also quite amazing. I think it really stands out from the crowd and is super attention grabbing- something i think lacks from a lot of music videos. The colours, type, speed and overall imagery of the video is really something I think I could watch over and over and never get bored.
